History of 3900V with Zuls
Anyone know the history of the 3900V in the classifieds with Zuls? It was featured in a magazine awhile ago where the lower units were blue-printed by WCM and it mentioned 1,000 HP Zuls at that time. It's listed in other online classifieds as having 950 Zuls. The classified ad in this forum has it listed with 800 Zuls. I called on this boat with no return information. Does sanyone knows anything about this boat. Thanks for your help.

Advantage this boats needs TLC. The gimbals are corroded , the exhaust is still the original which will need to be replaced real soon. It looks like it was put away wet.

Yes, thanks for the information. Hard to get exact details on this boat since it's brokered and not onsite to Shogren's location. I did talk to "boating37" but he hasn't owned it in almost 4 years but at that time it was still a great boat.

I made an offer on this boat back in February, contingent upon survey/inspection. My offer was the now asking price and I was told way too low. This was when it was listed at $159,900. Guess I'm glad I didn't put much effort into it. Of course, been through quite a bit with the one I did get, but apart from my hull chine issues the rest of the boat is pretty much mint.

Nuke427, how does your boat run in LOTO waters? What sort of chine hull problems are or were you experiencing and how did you resolve it? And what engines and speeds are you seeing out of your boat? Thanks for your help.
