Friday after I picked her up we went to Hammond Indiana.

It was mostly rollers, no white caps just the occasional large wave.

I went out with Erica. My thoughts are that in The Cig I`d be getting a lot of air and our ass es kicked pretty good.. I would have to keep it around 60 miles. Erica would be standing and holding on for dear life. Cig did not have bolsters.
I was always under the impression that Vs are better in rough water but I was wrong. We cruised mostly 80mph. Once in a while we would catch some air but overall it was a decent , fun ride. Sitting down is great.
Erica felt much more comfortable and safe sitting down and behind the windshield. Got on plane at 2000rpm without a huge burnout or blowing out. The Cig. could be problematic getting on plane in big water.
In the Cig in these conditions if I stopped the boat would be rocking all over the place especially if the waves were coming broadside. The cat just kinda didn`t give a $hit. Like turning on a SeaKeeper.

, I did not go over 80mph where it starts packing air and the fun begins or so I`m told. The Drive Sync is cool, hit the button once and it raises both drives one click . Hopefully I`ll have luck with that [product versus the piles of junk Drive guardians that gave me nothing but issues.
I experience very of that terrible hop that everyone keeps harping about.
Re-entry would sometimes cause a hard jolt in the steering wheel and even idling out the steering felt 'off' The previous owner deleted the second helm option, maybe theres some steering issue or air in the lines.

Coming back to the launch, the motors would shift fine but after 20 seconds would peter out in gear .. I found a few plugs that were pretty dark, thinking fouled out .. Since I have no way to get into the MEFI4 I`ll change plugs and keep an eye on the wide band I installed to see whats going on . On the hose it idles at 13AFR.

That`s my limited experiance so far . Can`t wait to take her out again.

Well Ron , I`ll give you my thoughts after a week in loto.
Ive always been told for rough water that you need a heavy V botton because they are wave crushers. Yeah thats a pile of BS .
This bad B itch ate UP loto midday slop like it was nothing .I`m blown away at the comfort of the ride .
I was under the impression carts are not good for rough water , boy I was wrong.
Not a single hard hit coming down all weekend, my speeds were mostly in the 60-80range before they really start packing air and get on top of everything and it still went over everything with ease.
If I was going 80 in the cig in that stuff id be in the air most of the time getting our a$$es kicked.
It was funny to see my passangers see us coming up to a cruiser wake , they brace for impact as usual and the Supercat just glides over it like its not even there . I had a smile from ear to ear.
3000rpm is 63mph..
I`m kicking myself for not doing this sooner .
Everyone feels super safe and sitting down is fantastic!!.
I`ll never go back to a stand up V bottom ever, I can tell you that !!

Gatting to over 110mph takes some getting used to , trim and tabs are very responsive .. and the stupid drive sync has a mind of its own, if I go above level at some point it drops the drives back down below level and slows the boat down . I was warned to turn it off since they can go haywire. Too bad , the idea of leveling the drives is great but as usual just like the Drive guardian this product is $hit too.
I was accelerating and it kept putting the drives down so I was paying attention to the drives and not in front of me , we hit a cruiser wake I didnt see and it send me flying . Definitely a oh $HIT moment , can`t pull back on the sticks just gotta ride it out, I needed a stiff drink after that good thing it was Britt on board and not my wife .Drive SYNC is is going in the garbage, that could have been bad .

Surprised you’re having issues with the trim sync. Mine has been a fantastic upgrade. Can’t imagine running about with it now.

Could it be a preset programmed? Like if you hit the trim both button twice quickly the drives go to a preset. Or if previous owner programmed it to where drives were raised so high would drop to full in. Either way worth a call to Mike at MDC.
