Heres the sonic test I did.
It is every bit as thick as the Bow Tie block. If you had a problem you could go to 4.620 with custom pistons. Head gaskets are 4.640 from fel pro that will keep the gasket at least ten in the hole. I think Cometic makes a little larger bore gasket but not sure.
