Question Open Bow Conversions

Has anyone converted their closed bow Nordic to open? I have a Rage and might like to try it. Thanks.

tfvox,
I noticed several people have looked at your thread without posting replys. Probably for the same reason as myself. I think the guys that want open bows, buy them that way. This can be done, but you will need a competent custom uphoulstery shop's help to make sure it looks professionally executed, and doesn't kill the resale of your Rage.
I would talk to Lonnie @ Nordic about the feasibility of having them do this for you (928-855-7610). Or, just sell your Rage and buy an open bow.
Regards,
Steve

Thanks for the input on converting the closed bow to open. I expect for the headache of the process, it would probably be easier to sell and buy. Of course if I sold, I would have to get the 28 next time around!

Thanks again,

Tod

Agreed...sell your boat and take that money and the money saved on the conversion and buy the right one. You could have some resale issues if you convert it and the work isn't perfect.

Nordic uses a different mold for the open bow version. So no matter how well you did the job, it would still be different than the factory version. I'm sure it would kill the resale value.
