Who cares what it is called? I am doing my 6th Regatta, Jamboree, whatever this year and they are always a fun time.
RRX6 will be held September 15th at Lake Havasu if anyone wants to come. It is an all boat "event".
Good luck with your East Coast event. They aren't hard to do. As long as everyone has a good time, especially the kids, it will be a success!!

2007 Lake Havasu Jamboree?
All this talk about the East Coast Jamboree and I am getting jealous! Are they having the Havasu Jamboree for Nordic this year? I have not seen any info on this.
When will it be and where can I get a flyer with some info.
Thanks!

ORVAL HAD THE JAMBOREE'S !! FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT A JAMBOREE IS...IT'S A FUN GATHERING, A PARTY !!
A REGATTA IS A SAIL BOAT RACE !! SO THOSE OF YOU WHOM ARE "SAILORS" HAVE A GREAT TIME...BUT WHEN ORVAL SOLD THE CO. THE NAME JAMBOREE WENT WITH HIM !!
THE NEW NORDIC OWNER'S NOW CALL IT "THE NORDIC INVITATIONAL" AS IF WERE SOME GOLF TOURNAMENT !!
GOOD LUCK AND GETTING IF OFF THE GROUND !! WITHOUT THE INSIDES AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF PUTTING SUCH AN EVENT ON..YOU'LL HAVE A CLUSTER X?!#K!!
MAYBE THE "NEW CREW" CAN DO A BETTER JOB...TIME WILL TELL...
Not that your initial comments even warranted a response......the Nordic Jamboree was held last weekend and everyone to my knowledge had a GREAT time. Gary, John and the UPM crew did a super job. No cluster f-cks that I am aware of. Time did tell, and you are wrong, as we all thought.
