Default Video of 540 for a Rage

Here's a link to a video of the dyno run for the engine I just finished destined for TXINSTIGATOR's 25 Rage. It's currently at 8 PSI boost. I'll be dropping it to about 6 for the final setup.

I was shooting for about 850-900 to begin with. I never expected that kind of power. I would like to get it around 900.

All I can say is THANKS BOB!!! When we started this project I never thought we would get this kind of horse power. I can't wait to get it in the water. Bob still has about a month of work to do to get it complete. We will post numbers after we get it on the water. Not sure if I will ever have the *&ll's to open it up all the way, if I do it will be posted here first. I think a drive will be the next upgrade.

Hey, Bajarunner. I built a couple of supercharged 383's that dyno'd at 555 HP at the flywheel. I installed them in the boat and they dyno'd at 490 at the prop. So, the drives are eating a lot more than the 30 HP everyone thought. Using this as a comparison, your 510 at the prop translates to about 560-570 at the flywheel. That's about what we were expecting. I'll be doing a comprehensive test to verify drive loss shortly and will post the results.
