Who's going to the Nordic Jamboree at Cumberland?
We're still trying to decide on whether to make the 1000 mile tow up there. What is the agenda and how many boats does it look like will be there?

hi Bob
Hey man, as far as the agenda, it's on one of the threads, but we could use an update ..........Gary!
I think we will have four or five Heats from the Nashville area attending. Our activities usually include excessive alcohol consumption and whatever that causes , oh yeah, and some hot rod boating (not necessarily in that order ).
Bring the Heat and your buddies to Cumberland!
So how's she running? Don't keep us in suspense!
Best Regards,
Steve

Nordic Gang,
The Jamboree is quickly approaching and lots of fellow Nordic owners are trying to decide on what to do. If any one has any reservation about the condition of Lake Cumberland just give me a call or give a shout out to Nordic Gary. We have been on the lake for the past 4-6 weekends with no problems due to any low water levels. I went to 76 Falls this past weekend and was able to get within 200 yards of the falls and the lowest water level reading i saw was 15 feet. The main lake is still 100+ feet and all the major coves and creeks are still an average of 50-60 ft. So with that said lets here from all that will be attending I am trying to organize this and it would be alot easier with a good boat count. Feel free to call me (John Stivers) @ 270-858-6911
Have a Great Day

I'm in. We're getting in Friday morning ...............
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Jamboree.
For my fellow Nashville Nordic Navy friends, rooms are $99 Friday night, $139 Saturday night. Slips (open) are $10 per night. Call Jamestown Marina 270-343-1321, ask for Jeannie or Connie. Tell them you're with the Nordic Jamboree.
Regards,
Steve
PS, our current confirmed count is 2 Heats (me and the Harts). We're working on another Heat (Butch Fletcher's) that will be coming if we get his tailpipes in from CMI. Possibly a couple more............

They just keep quoting #s ...............
I called UPM (John and Gary) to see if they had negotiated a group rate, and they had ($99 Friday/$139 Sat).
When I called Jamestown, Connie said it was $139 both nights. I told her that I had been quoted differently. She later called back and said I was right and gave me and a friend $99/$139 for our rooms.
I would call back and speak with Connie or Jeannie, and tell them you're with the Nordic Jamboree.
I'm looking forward to meeting you!
Regards,
Steve
