Default 700 Ilmore Heat in Powerboat

Just got my new issue of powerboat. It's got a Heat with an Ilmore 700. 89 mph @ 6100 rpm. Price as tested $236,260. I hope that's a misprint. WOW! Twice what I paid for mine with a Merc 525. But it's got a good review.

When I saw the MSRP in the article...I laughed out loud.
Sounds like a very fun package, though.

Lonnie told me I could get the same boat built for under 130k just before he left the company.

At least were back to reality. I would say it's a bit more than 130 though. I would say close to 140-150. Is Ilmore more expensive than the Merc 700/NXT? And how about reliablity? My Merc set-up is excellent. 120 hours on it and only a water pump change. Can't complain about that.

The MSRP is App. 178k Raytart is selling price zone....130k is not a real # the 525 Heat is more than that ... to help low to mid 140's on that boat
