I have a 525 for sale low hours like 48. Id sell it for $19000 complete with headers and all components
What type headers, and is this an EFI (sorry, I should know this)? Is this motor out of your Thor currently, and are those original 48 hours, or 48 on a rebuild?

I believe he bought that boat this spring, brand new.
Should have CMI headers (worth about 5K for that motor) and is EFI..

I don't think you can go wrong.

Good luck.

The options are endless here. I like the idea of option 2, keep it simple and reliable. The closer you get to the power to run 80 the more fragile other parts (drive) seem to get. Nothing ruins a day on the lake or a 900 mile trip to Havasu like a $4000 drive implosion.

I talked to bobl on my way home from Austin time before last. He was telling me about the comprehensive write up he did on 496 power options. You should read about it when you get a minute.

http://www.fullthrottlemarine.com Then click on High Performance projects on the bottom left of the page.

Hope you and the family are doing OK.

I would definatley talk with Bob. I know of 2 Nordic heats with Raylar's that Bob put in and they run great, and the owners aren't exactley easy on them. He also built a kick a$$ Procharged 540 for my dad's Rage with 900+ hp.
