I have seen those intakes make 670 or so on a 540ci, not going to get much more.... tried it. I am sure that a good intake and dominator will fix you right up. My dominators on my 572's have been as good as EFI lately. Bump the key after sitting all week and go straight to idling.

Pfaff used a huge cam to offset the restrictive intake manifold. I cant wait to see the results. I will let you know as soon I know

I'm excited to see the engine get back in the boat John! I think it should pick up a few mph! Gary Grimes and Roy are hands down some of the best engine builders on the East Coast!

John,
You should have bought the motor you called me about. Complete drop in pushed my 25' eliminator 120 mph on my gps at 2600 ft alt. idle at 750 rpm in gear only has 10 hrs. It is still for sale.

i dindnt want a motor that tall. Fuel injection was a must also
