2000 heat top speed w/ a whipple charged 502 MPI?
i picked up an intake manifold replacement whipple charger for my 2000 nordic heat. currently it's got a stock 502 MPI in it.
according to whipple, this should put me somewhere in the 600-620 hp range. anyone w/ first hand top speed experience w/ this combo?
thanks!
Ned

Ned,
My open bow heat with the stock 600sci (600hp at the prop) did a consistant 79-80 mph with just about any prop. Put the correct Hering prop on it, and it did 82+. Typically, closed bow boats are aproximately 2 mph faster than the open bows.
I would guess 82-85 mph.
