The flame JD posted is really nice and clean looking boat. I saw it last year up at Flaming Gorge. The owner is a nice guy too. Think it's a 100+ MPH boat.

Why wouldn't they just buy an open bow? They must have gotten a hell of a deal to buy it then spend the money to cut it open. Is there another Nordic in your future?

It's now at Nordic getting a new hole cut in the deck for the new owner (converting to an open bow)
Dave, any general idea what the new owner of your boat is spending on this conversion?

This is the way Nordic makes the mid cabin 35. They do not have seperate top mold like they do on the 25 and 28. They cut the hole, then glass in the insert for a 28. When they are finished it looks like it was from a seperate mold. The 35 that Condor has started out as a closed deck.

Our's just departed our ownership. You will be very happy with the Flame as we were. It's a good mid-sized lake boat and when set up properly with the right tabs and props, will run on rails to just over 100mph.
It's now at Nordic getting a new hole cut in the deck for the new owner (converting to an open bow) Glad I don't have to watch
