Default 27' Lightning and rough water - looking for owner feedback

Interested in hearing from owners with the '27 Lightning that have run them on rougher waters, 1-2' stuff, and how they handle/ride in those conditions. Run a mix of inland lakes and Lake Michigan here in the midwest and potentially looking a sport deck Cat vs. deep V stuff more common around here.

Up here in Lake Erie we call 1 to 2's "glass".

Guess looking for quality of ride, rough/smooth, wet or lots of bow splash, etc. vs. a similar 26-29ft. deep V open bow or MCOB.
