Hi all... Saw a 28 heat at the chicago boat show and really liked it. My question to owners is how does the windscreen work when you are sitting down? My wife is picky about not getting blasted by wind and pretty much demands a full windshield in any new boat we would consider. I was hoping this did a good job. The dealer said deflectors would prob be needed.
Also, how would it run with a 496 mag HO?
Thanks for the replies.!

Mad Max...I just sold my 2001 Nordic this past summer. I found that the windscreen just deflects the wind directly into your face sitting down, standing up, you get blasted pretty good. There's a simple solution www.windaway.com They work great, they're easy to put up and remove, and not too visible. I would highly recommend them for your boat. But don't forget, you're moving along pretty good in an open air vessel, no matter what, you're going to get wind.
I had the 496HO and saw a best of 67 and change. The person I sold it to (Drop the hammer from OSO) has seen 68+. On a 95 degree day with high humidity and full load, you'll see maybe 62. It cruised at 41-43 @ 3500 which is where you'll see most of your time. BTW...Stock 24p Bravo prop.
