Trim Position on 35 Flame

What peg do you 35 Flame owners run your boat @. I was testing some new Props on Saturday, (28" Bravo 1 stock) and I had the drives ~6 on the mech. trim indicator and she ran 77.4 MPH @ ~4950-5000 rpm. I keep trimming her up trying to find the point of when the boat started to lose speed, but it didn't!
What say you 35 Flame owners?

Dean, I have some specs from RV that were taken from his former boat (mine now
) with similar power (496HOs).
I could email them to you but real quick, with 28s, 3/4 fuel, 70 degrees and 6" chop is 78.7@5000-5050 and 6.5 on the trim gauge.
Best speed was with old style Mercruiser Bravo stock 30s and that was 79.7@4850-4900 and 6.5 on the trim under similar conditions.
Email me your address and I can send you that log. It has cruise speeds and such and may be helpful to you.

The old Mercruiser setting was to set the trim limiter from 6.25" to 6.75" measuring from the center of the cylinder pin end to the face of the trim cylinder. 6.75" on mine is the mark between 6 and 7. A tad after 7, I blew out the props at 89MPH. Rev limiter kicked in and Diacom software showed 5812 rpm. The 28 is the best bravo 1 merc made. The best trim is when the boat stops climbing.

Keep in mind the mechanical indicators are adjustable. So, no 2 boats will be exactly alike on the readings. You just need to find what works on your boat and remember the setting. It won't change unless someone works on the drives and moves the senders.
