Mine ought to be around 90 once I finish the Whipple install on the 555/625HP in a few weeks. We'll see. Seems pretty strange that every boat I get through my shop doesn't run as fast as every one claims. Maybe the water conditions here are not conducive to good numbers(700 ft. elevation). My 496/375HP Heat would only run 61 stock and a 496/375HP Rage ran a best of 69+ under ideal conditions. My current setup runs mid 70's, which works out about right mathematically based on the speed it ran with the 496.

What prop are you using at that elevation? Are you sure about your HP? 375 is non HO... I thought almost every 28 heat with 496 were HO's / 425

Yeh I'm sure. I am a Nordic dealer. I ordered it with the 375, knowing I was going to remove it and install a custom engine. Custom engine is Dyno tested. Prop was a lab finished 24" Bravo 1. Currently running a 25" Hydromotive P5X at 5500 RPM. All speeds are GPS also. I do this for a living so I make absolutely sure of my data.
