Not that hard to install the plug. I had to get a 2" sanding disc to flatten the upper side of the hull where the mount goes to keep the plug from rocking.

At least there wasn't alot of water there. This doesn't seem to be feasible for me. With my boat on the lift, I can't access this drain plug, if I was to install it.

It's only on the trailer 2-3 times!

Not that I know of, from my understanding it id the bulkhead that stops the water not the step. Maybe Gary could get the answer.

Dean, If you take on a lot of water from a rain storm or whatever you will retain water from your front bulkhead to the bow. The front will not drain to the bilge on your 35. After the front bulkhead everything drains to the bilge no need for a drain in the back step.
I will try to locate pictures of your boat before the floor is installed to illustrate.

Gary,
Thanks alot. I found water beside the right side of my belly tank, sitting on top of the foam the belly tank is secured in. It's right under my bolster, looking thru the inspection portal. I'm hoping it's just water collecting from all the rain we have been getting?!
