Default Plumbing Question- Blower Setup

I just bought a 572 with a 10-71 blower on it. The motors came out of Keep Trucking, the 42 OuterLimits owned by Applegate. Anyway the were puulled apart and rebuild. I picked one of them up last weekend. My question is how to plum the hoses on the motor/intercooler. Im running the standard one oulet pump and not the 2 stage. Ive been told many differant things on how to do this. Im looking for some one who alreay has one of thes style motors plumbed with the single set up or who has plumbed one of these.
2 styles i hear were:1. Use a pick up foot on the transome to feed the motor/oil cooler and dump the water out the exhaust. For the inter cooler just use the water rushing in the leg to cool the chiller
2. Block off the bravo inlet, Use a foot pick up for the intercooler and also use a foot pick up foot the motor/oil cooler.
I have really no clue where to dump what to use as pick ups or how much cooling is needed.
Help is much appriciated.
Mike

Us a pick up for the intercooler that does not run through the motors pump. As the speed increases the flow of water will start. You DO NOT want water to flow through the intercooler at idle/slow speeds.

Transom pickup to seastrainer check valve in seastrainer
feeding intercooler. other output of seastrainer to suction side
of seapump output of seapump to oilcooler output of oil cooler
to crossover.

Didnt we discuss this?
Your MSD box is here waiting for you.
Make sure the gear on that distributer is the right one for your
cam it most likely is bronze. However we are guessing.
If it fails you will loose oil pressure.

Now get that Bravo eater in that boat

There are many ways to plumb your set up. Some things to keep in mind. Motor needs 20-25 lbs, intercooler wants about 10 lbs. The more your scoop off the transom the drag you create. It is nice to see out flow from intercooler from helm. Its a good idea to run gauges on both to get pressures right even if its just temporary. Good luck.
