Default Launch sites in CT & the Hudson River

It's been a long time since I have had a trailer. Any sugestions on launch sites where I can leave the truck and trailer overnight (safely) would be appreciated

Hays Haven Marina
59 Railroad Ave
Chester, CT 06412
Havent launched there yet but I went down to check the place out and it seems nice. I was told very secure if you leave your rig and trailer overnight.

I have had a slip at Hays for the last 8 years and can highly recommend the place. Very clean well run Marina. Security cameras and friendly people. The short steep ramp can handle 38' without a problem but its a little tight manuvering the truck. Last year they were chargeing $20.00 to use the ramp and park your car. Not sure what the fee is now. The only drawback is that it's almost an hour to the sound, even in a "go fast". The "No Wake" zones in Essex and Old Saybrook kill you. I liked the place because of the freshwater.

In Old Saybrook right down the street from Ocean Perf. is a ramp pretty sure it is public ,Ive left my truck and trailer a couple times. On the Hudson There is Georges Island ,Montrose (safe) and Peekskill (not so safe) for overnighting. But my marina is right in the middle of the two so If you PM me I can make arrangements to lock it up in the yard for a night or two.

I have a slip at Haverstraw Marina on the Hudson with a 12000lbs hydro hoist. I want to move the boat down the shore so the hoist is for sale .The marina will not allow any new hoist's at the marina so mine is grandfathered in.I have already paid for the year so you can save some $ on my hoist and the 40 ft slip. Hoist is a 2003 and in perfect shape.

The slip was $4000 and the hoist is worth about $6000 . Send me a pm if you want the hoist or a deal on both.
