Default Friday night racing and drinking!!!!!!!

I knew this thread title would get you to look. This Friday it is going to rain so I need something to do so here it is.

This place in Wallingford has an indoor cart racing track. This is not hte kiddie ones they have at the Game in North Haven, these carts run 40 mph. Helemets neck braces and harnesses. You race against 10-12 other guys the races are 8 minutes each and it is wild. They give time sheets for all the racers so we know who's balls to break Then afterwards we are going to run over to Sliders for some beers and wings etc. I have a group of 4-5 going already and thought I would throw out here to see if there is any interest.

If I dont have to fly this weekend, you can count me in. I think a couple of my friends might like to give it a try also.

What time? I conveniently spend about 55 hours a week right around the corner from there, so i'd be interested.

I am not very good at turning down racing...I race myself to work and back daily

Isn't that a little early Frank? Honestly I'm not even sure I could make it there for 6. I was thinking more like 7:30 or 8... race a few heats and then hit up Sliders afterwards. Either way, by all means don't push it back on my behalf if you want to get there early.

Im in......Most prolly couldnt get there that early. I think 7 will be more realistic. Race, Sliders, then Eli's in Middletown. The wife wanted to go, but I told her Scot said NO..."So, I will meet you for a drink later in Middletown." ........I have a few others friends that Im going to invite today. This could be great! Jeff the "racer" should shine here.
