Default Block Island

Looking at taking a trip this summer to Block Island. We've got 3 or 4 performance boats ( 35-45 feet) and wondering where the best spot would be for us to launch from the list below:

Mystic, CT
Charlestown, RI
Pt Judith, RI
Hanson's Landing, RI
Shennicosette, RI

Thinking of staying somewhere the 1st night we launch and then head to Block the next morning. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes you're correct, should've been CT. Coming from the Albany NY area and Mystic is much closer plus always liked Mystic. Any suggestions from there? Thanks.

Galilee boat launches only about 35 MI from Mystic. But the trip from Galilee to Block is then only about 12 mi vise about 26 from Mystic. Mystic is nice though. Used to be an old sleepy town 6 decades ago. With the great Mystic Seaport museum. Have to go if you've never been.
Either way, you'll be going over the Thames river on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge. When on the bridge look to the left. You'll see my old stomping grounds, Groton submarine base. The first atomic submarine, the USS Nautilus SSN 571 is tied up there as a museum piece. If you never been on a submarine, now's your chance. We were tied up on the same dock, opposite sides, when she was active. Good luck.
