Sunday I see the weather west, north west winds. Cool it's going to be nice in Chicago for the Air and Water show. I'm in a 25' Outlaw no problem. We had about 15 boats ranging from 23' to 40'. Our group split up with half running the south branch to chicago and the other half taking the calsage to Lake Mi. River is great, Hammond is great and get out side the break wall and Oh my. I made it all the way to Chicago but I got so much air I think I earned my Pilot's lincence. I get to Navy Pier and the flags are blowing North East. Thoes weather guys really suck. I'm taking some asprine and going to bed. Great time otherwise. Everyone made it safe

We pulled into the Worth launch at 12:30. It was totally full. We contemplated putting in but did not want to deal with the impending drunkard amateur hour. Sooo, we went home and I cleaned and waxed the boat.

You have chosen wisely, Paul!
We were out for the practice Friday and the whole show Saturday...just ran out of Hammond to go for a little ride Sunday and got hit with some 6-ers outside the wall (with the repercussions, it was a bathtub). We ended up dropping anchor just inside the wall and enjoying an afternoon of watching people in 18 foot bowriders take a stab at making it downtown....then hurriedly turning around and coming back in before they got swamped.

Yeah, what Mike said after seeing the practice on Friday and the whole show on Sat. We hung out by Mike and watched the fools try and run in 17ft open bows in 5-6'S...I will agree ouch....BZ
p.s. you need to get better with that water balloon slingshot

sunday's busy lakefront made for an awesome day for us. The 34' scarab leapt, setting the pace for the Excalibur hawk 40 hull which did surprizingly well in the choppy waters. We had a blast, and saw a lot of air. Here are some pics from saturday's events.(camera's memory full from sat, so no sun. pics.)

I suck at resizing pics, but if one of these belongs to anyone on this board, I can e-mail you the full pic.

It depends on the milage you get. Figure 40 miles from Jackson park to Michigan city, another 40 back, then where ever you starting point is.
Hope you join us.
