I got out today for a little while. The lake, temps wind was pefect for a little fast runnin'. I got a new best top speed. with Magic Medicine right beside me 70.5 at 5000 RPMs. I am happy with that for my low hp, 16 year old boat.

The lake looked beautiful yesterday...glad somebody got to use it! Thanks to Hammond closing, I had to pull Friday. I was doing a 100+ mile bike ride yesterday helping a friend train for the Ironman in Hawaii this month and was right on the shoreline in New Buffalo. Congrats on the speed Mark.

Yesterday was a blast. Thats it for me. I will be winterizing soon. Mark don't kid everyone, I was right beside you until I had to get out of it, from then on I couldn't catch back up. Looks like our boats run about dead even, when the lake is not too choppy. Good seeing you! Its great to see all that hard work finally pay off.

We were out on the lake in Chi-town on sunday too. There were quite a few boats out on the lakefront.

Put the boat back in the water at Northpoint Marina, ran up to Racine with Gary Behr and his always-immaculate 42 Tiger, had Bloody Marys at Sandpipers, burned up some more gas, then back on the trailer. And that really was the last blast.
Now if I can only figure out how to get this black stuff of the deck that seems to have bonded with the gel coat while it was sitting in the lot at Skipper Buds last week.
