Default I didn't know.........

Bob was back in the boat building biz. Again, my memory after all of these years is somewhat foggy but back in the late '80s, Bob owned a set of 24' Cat molds. At the time he called the boat Active Thunder. I do believe that there was some kind of connection to the current AT people. If I remember correctly, they bought the 24' Cat molds after Bobs attempts to build and market the boat. I know AT was originally located in Spring Grove Il, which was only 10 minutes north of my shop. Bob rented a part of the same building we were in to build the 24' Cat. Anyway, I went with Bob on the maden test ride in the first 24' Cat he built. Nothing worked correctly and we ended up turning back to shore within about 10 minutes. He sold a couple of these boats to people I knew on the chain but I don't know what ever happened to them. He was a piece of work back then and it sounds like he continued after we went our seperate ways. BTW, one night we caught Bob trying to move out of our building without paying the rent. We caught him and took all of his tools and a ton of other crap from him and held it until we got our money. He paid a couple of days later.
