My bro and I call this natural selection. Lake Mich is not forgiving, people need to use there heads before they leave the dock.

I am looking at Fast Forward's Powerquest 26 Legend XL. If he steps up into a 29 then I am waiting to purchase his.

We usually put in at Worth.

On occasion I trailer out to Morris and put in at Govenor Stratton. The cross currents when putting the boat back on the trailer out there are a pain, so I don't do that often. I would rather spend my time on the water, not on the highway.

My uncle had a rack slip in Pastrick for years, but when the place started having problems years back he pulled out.
We were river rats for ten+ years. We launched at Alsip. Now we have a slip with a Hydro Hoist at the currently closed Hammond Marina. The Hydro Hoist was the best money I have ever spent. I don't miss trailering at all!!!!

Good luck on the Powerquest. Hope it works out for you.

Dan,

Do you live in the Brementowne subdivision, I occasionally see a looong boat in the neighborhood. Very rarely, so I can't remember what it is.

I am a few blocks away from Firehouse #2. I don't keep the boat at home. Normally it would be on a lift at Hammond but we need a bigger Riverboat so lets close the Marina for a year!!! This year the boat is under a full cover in storage. Sad year!

You must have brought it home sometime?

It has been some time since I saw the boat at that house, and when I did it was only a short time.

I am just got finished measuring my driveway to see if the boat fits on the driveway without blocking the sidewalk. Well the boat fits, but I think the trailer hitch will be in the sidewalk.

I live next to 2 House, and I work there...short walk.
