This is a great opportunity and a huge thanks should go out to all the people that are making this happen. There may only be one flag in KW-checkered. And if that is the case then the guys (or gals) that walk off with it will be truly "World Champions". This is the "Worlds" and that is all that matters, should be great!!

Louie is 100% correct, the BEST thing about OPA is we can and will VOTE "on everything." OPA FULFILLED our 2006 OBLIGATIONS, we now move to 2007. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

hasn't begun. Maybe this need to be addressed during our next conference call and not on this board. Some things to consider would be.
1. Rules
2. Fees
3. Past experiences with each organization
4. what are the offers
5. Whats best for OPA, financially

Everything you need is on the SBI/APBA web. site ... You can download the rules, and the fee are also posted in the rule book.
Smtty has been talking to JC so you might want to give him a call I'm sure her can help with any questions u might have about that ...

I'm not a 100% sure but I dont think the fee's haven't change for yrs they are pretty much the same as they have been. SBI/APBA didnt raise their fee when they took APBA , SBI has covered the extra cost and fee's that get paid to APBA and HAVEN"T pass them on to the racers.

Well as a OPA racer we don't pay fees! There is one boat registration and crew fee to OPA at the beginnings of the year period. And we get paid to race if we place. Is that what SBI is offering to all the OPA racers Frank?????? 
And to all the fans,sponsors and everybody who is involved in the sport I hope you can clearly see why there can be no unified race in Key West. Its the short sightedness of a few people at the top of the food chain that wont give an inch. With comments like Franks saying there will be only one flag flying in KW a SBI/APBA flag you can clearly see why we cant get it together. I truly believe we should all race the worlds together but its just not possible like this if thats the attitude of SBI.
