Thank you from Chattanooga
On behalf of my wife Debbie and the STARS Powerboat Rescue Team I would like to say a big thank you to all the racers and fans that made the trip to Chattanooga for our third annual powerboat race with the inaugural running of the U.S. Championship. I know it was a long haul for most of you, but I hope the trip was well worth it.
Special thanks goes out to our event sponsor Miller Industry and all of our other sponsors. Please visit our site at www.starsrescue.com to see all our partners this year.
It was a busy weekend of action and all of you racers put on one of the greatest display of racing that I have seen in a long time. I'll have all the speed run results up in a couple days.
Thanks to Smitty and OPA, John Haggin with AMF, all the racers from Offshore Pro Series, SBI/APBA. A big thanks goes out to all the Skiffs and Graveys, you guys put on a great show.
I would like to express my appreciation to all our volunteers for the hundreds of hours of hard work.
Thanks again everyone and looking forward to 2008.
Pop

It was a long weekend for everyone. And I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came to Chattanooga. I have received a lot of feed back from spectators, and all were impressed. All of the sponsors I have talked to were very happy, and were proud to be involved. David Booker from B & B Crane has already contacted me and wanted to let me know that the crane operator was impressed with all of the racers, and that B&B will be involved as long as we want the to be. The thing I wanted to say was thanks you racers for being the professionals you are. I am glad that Pop was able to pull of something he has always wanted. A professional race without politics, but packed full of events for racers as well as the spectators.
See yall next year
