Default smaller outerlimits

i have a question. im from the smaller boat people that would want to move up to maybe somewhere in the 30 to 33 area.i know outerlimits is a custom boat but what the compitition is isnt. i love outerlimits and i would love to to own one. i was thinking they should make a smaller version for pleasure that could be used for poker runs if they wanted to be. something that could be mild that the lower budget people could get into. this is just my idea and i think it would sell just cause of the name. tell me what you guys think.

i think they are maxed out production wise building the big ones... and in order to give you an "outerlimits" style boat in a 30-33' range i would think would be cost prohibitive... you be looking at a 350-400k 30' boat... just my guess....

Well, apache makes a single 30ft, and so does cig, so why can't OL?
But I do understand the capacity situation.

It's kinda like asking Cadillac or Lincoln to make a compact economic car. Once you make if affordable it is no longer a luxury item and then also become a production item.

I can only see the 37' being their smallest boat. For the most part, the OL guys that had 37s already moved up to the 39s & 42s. I think Mazzo (No Discipline) is the only one that went from the 37' to the 42' to the 39'.

thats a really good piont. i guess you have to do with what works. i just thought it would be a good idea and get more outerlimits out there to be seen in public not just in poker runs.

I guess I'm really spoiled. I kinda take seeing them for granted. There are a good number of OLs in this area. (From the Barnegat Bay area to the LI sound.) Between the NYC, AC, & Glen Cove Poker Runs and the OPA & SBI races I get to see alot of them all the time. (That's also why I tried to focus on everyone else this year @ the NY run when I took my pics this year.)

my piont is, i love this chit and i love the big boats like everyone else but the difference for me (just my 2 cents) affordable to me is checkmate, baja, sonic, ect... i would just like to see some products like outerlimits come down a notch for people like me. on the other hand your right. it wouldnt be what it is if they came down that notch. i guess thats just what makes us want it.
