I know you said no 1075's but this is a super clean boat. Maybe work a deal to trade the 1075's for a pair of 700's.

The owner, Chris, is a great guy. I have spoken to him at length about this boat. It is probably my favorite OL under 300k bar-none. However, he has put umpteen thousanddddd dollars into it with no real use since, and needs to hold very close to his asking price. It is worth it all day if you talk to him and realize all he has done to it. I just can't spend that much unfortunately.
I think $280k would be a great price on that boat and I bet he may consider it. Just still well over my budget.

That explains some.....I"m shocked he'd have to put so much into one of the newer 42's on the market. Other than repairs and maintenance, I have not had to put much money into boats I've owned until they are much older. I would not have guessed that, although the depreciation is brutal as it is.

I believe he did full rebuilds on engines and drives with all upgraded hardware. XT ( I think) did a ton of customization on the cockpit and interior. Got rid of all the zipper flaps and made molded openings, cubby doors, new carpets, covers, etc etc. It is also a Carbon deck boat. I think the value is there for the right buyer.
