The 700's w/#6 drive is a great combination BUT with a week transmission. The 1075 set up is an excellent engine, just check the valve lash once a season, takes about an hour. super easy. Ive gone 150 hrs on the top ends and 300 hrs on the bottoms of mine. There are a ton of safeguards on the 1075 set up in the computer,, in the smart craft system. 42 w 700's probably runs 110 on a good day... with 1075's runs 125+ ... you will have a way better cruise with the 1075. you will run 70-80 at 3500-4000rpm

You didn't pick up the 47 from here in OK did you? There was one on our pond that everybody was afraid of touching because of the motors.
Only had a little over 100 hours on it. Trip 800s w Wet 6's.
I heard it ran close to 125 new but I thought he was BSing maybe I was wrong.
I thought i heard it went west and was stripped down. Shame if so.

I have had mine for 12 years triple 800s with imcos. triple 800s with wet sixes will run 97 to 98 mph triple 1075s will run 125mph on the newer 47s 05 and up. I get 98 out of mine every day. for 100 I have to work it

That seems much more realistic.
