![Question](/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I recently bought a 2000 37' Stiletto with 900SC's and #6 Drives, no spacers, no ext. boxes, and 4 blade 17 1/8" 33P Merc. props. The boat is fast and responsive after getting it on plane. But once a year I Pull my newphew in the Catalina Ski race and will need a much better hole shot than the boat has now. The way the boat is set up it's doubtful that it would even pull him up at all. I can sacrafice 15 MPH Top End but need a better hole shot. i have rideen in another 37' that had the same basic set up and the same problem.
Anybody ever tried a 1 1/2 spacer or 5 blade props. has anybody been able to cure this problem without sacraficeing much top end?

I have only had the boat out for 2 hours one day and saw 103 but had some left , didn't want to push with 91 Octane. Boat engine builder has been in the boat at 113 MPH

Sweet, I know 113 is flying, but from what I've read these boats are running 90 with 575's, and around 100 with twin 700's, so I thought it might be a little faster. It is Flying no matter what!!!! Post a pic if you've got any!! Darren

Wild Thing what year is yours? What for power and drives? Have you seen or been in Let's Rock before? Do you have problems getting on plane?
