I have them on my Banana.
Mine don't flip, they are bolted to the fairing.
I like them, but given the choice, I would rather the clear plexi that runs the length of the fairing, starboard to port that you see on most new boats today.

Not on a Pantera, but I love my flip-ups! I had some built that were a little taller than stock. It's just enough to keep the wind out of your eyes, and still good visibility.

I put a set on my 28 last year. They help a LOT if you are sitting down, but put the wind right into your face if you are standing up.
I need figure out a way to hold them down though. With the right wind and a big wave, they will flip up HARD. I bent one and have it pretty much straightened, but it still likes to flip up on its own pretty easily.

Griff,
Cig uses a small rotating plastic tab screwed to the fairing and rotates over the deflector to keep it from flipping up. Think of a plastic clamp to hold a mirror to a door or wall and that is similar to what I mean.
Mine were rubber to keep from scratching the paint. I took them off and I doubt they saved them but if they did I would give them to you.

Put a set on mine and they work great......not as effective as a wrap around, but they do take the air off the noggin. I think mine are the smaller 12" ones.
