Well, I finally finished with the maintenance (fresh Weind blower from The Blower Shop and replaced a bad map sensor) and went for a short run today- sure felt good after season ended early last yr- the holley blower lost the rear rotor brgs (sealed on the holley vs wet on weind).
Anyway- some of you know I scored a meticulously cared for low hour HP500 with new AL Dart heads ARP bolts and good gaskets I can barely pronounce (Kermetic???)- oh yea- and it has a whipple and custom mapping on the Dyno etc -790 hp with 8 lbs and Dustin says 10 will be fine with Pump gas and the AL heads.
Upper XR is fresh with the upgraded vert shaft and lower was replaced with fresh Imco at the end of the season.
Now i just need to work in the swap over the next month. One of the biggest motivations I could get is finding a buyer for my 144 hr 575SCi- it's advertised in the classifieds and needs a good home- if you know of anyone send them my way

ooh and ah over them
790 ... that ought to tote you pretty well.
Full cabin? what's your speed estimate and prop selection?

full cabin, I'm at 1120 feet, should be in the mid 80's- 80 was my goal. Engine is tuned to pull strong to 6k, will prop for 5600 when light.
P5x is at Throttleup now, waiting for my base line run with labbed 28" Bravo before we tweak it.
