Default Standard Bravo or XR Drive Dimension

Does anyone know the actual Prop shaft to Drive Shaft dimension for a Bravo with a standard lower?

That would make sense. The standard X dim on a 28 is 17 or 17.5" and the propshaft is about 4.5" below the bottom.

The Konrad is only .4" deeper than a standard Bravo1 if you keep the same X

From Konrad Engineering:

Standard Konrad Lower - 22.530"

Short Konrad Lower - 20.875"

So their shorty is about 1" lower. As there is an 8" extension box, the 1" is about perfect. We fixed the 11 degree tansom angle vs the 13 degree extension box angle with a fabricated wedge plate that bolts on as part of the transom assembly.

So now - 850+HP engine, Konrad Drive, Wedge Plate, CMI Headers, and CMI Mufflers. . .

Any one want to make a donation?

At least for fuel?

The standard Bravo1 or XR shaft to shaft is 22.125" so that the standard Konrad is .405" taller based on their engineering specs. If you are going for the setback box then the Konrad shorty would probably be better. That will be an awesome setup when it's all done. I will be out your way in early December and will make a fuel donation for a ride if it is done. Chris
