That's a difficult question to answer. I've chewed threw a 120 gal tank in just over a day. Then again If I'm not hog wild and do some chillin and swimming it could last several trips to the lake.
Tipically I will burn a solid 1/2 tank each trip out. That's with a single

I ran a good bit this week end & started out with a bit less
than a full tank & still have atleast a half tank left. but like. Tom said it is a hard question with the main varible being the greedy rt hand. If it helps I crused about 2700-3000 rpm most of the time @ about 35-38 mph , quite a few start & stops & 2 hard blasts of wot. Hope this helps a little.

That helps alot - I'm about the same - like to cruise around 40-50mph - with maybe two short blasts over a whole weekend. I drive about 2 1/2 hours on a typical weekend. The lake gets pretty small when you move that fast so I usually will just drive for about 30 minutes - take a nice long swim - and drive back. This boat has the twin 454's which I figure would NOT be twice as much as my 24 python with a 502.

Just sold the python. DEAL PENDING ON THE 99 PANTERA IN DALLAS!!!! (454's w 310hp)- THIS IS GOING BY REAL FAST. Hopefully will test drive on Friday. If everything goes right I will have her out for Memorial Day weekend. I feel like everything is coming at me at 90 mph. Any pointers for the test drive - mechanical wise - what to test for, troubleshoot? I don't know how to drive a boat with twins, but the dealership is a top notch donzi dealer so I figure he could give me a good crash course.

Sorry for hijacking the thread - but we are still talking about a 28 Pantera with twins

A good friend of mine here in Miami is also very interested in that 1999 Pantera 28'. He is trying to get finacing before putting the deal together. He has spoken to them several times. That 28' was built for my uncle. If you purchase it this week call me and so we can discuss what it needs. The boat should run right at 67 - 68 MPH at WOT.It is a very easy boat to run !! You will enjoy it.

Regards,

JO
