28 with twins ( prop question )
How are most of you guys spinning your props on your 28 twins. spinning in or out ?? also are most of you running 3 blade mirages ( regular or + ) , or 4 blade bravo's , hydro's ect... ? I assume most are running 4 blades spinning out.
I am interested to see what most of you have tried & the differant results as to speed differances & prop slip with the same props just spinning the differant rotations. Thanks in advance

I'm turning my 4 blade Bravos in,never tried spinning them out.It had 3 blade Mirage when I bought it ,the Bravos seam to have better hole shot and midrange. The handling is much better with the Bravos.

I have spun them in and out,I prefer them turning them out, it handles better especially around the dock.

I might’ve picked up a couple of mph spinning in ,but I liked the way it handled spinning out.

Its can be difficult to compare props because Pantera used different x dimensions. Sometimes because of the power they put in it. Sometimes for where or how the boat was going to be ran.

I just looked at some pics of my old 28 and it was inning over 650hp a side and gps at 102. They were spinning out. That was a mean boat that took me everywhere. Went from Chesapeake to New York, Lauderdale to the Bahamas. Actually Phil Lipship tried to save me from an awful storm I hit on the way back. The coastguard sent a helicopter out to rescue me. They were over 10 footers and that 28 went thru every one. Not over but thru. Actually twisted the stock exhaust with the risers off the motors somewhat when it still had the black motor mercs. I didn’t realize she was filling with water but she got me in governors cut. I can’t say enough about those 28s. Tried to buy it back one time. Sorry I got off on a tangent but that was a great boat that spun its props out. You can see the props of you google Pantera 28 Baltimore Maryland. The add for the guy that sold it after me had some nice pics. And the props are going out.
