What are everyones thoughts on this boat with regard to power and price? Anyone have any inside info on its history? I'm getting some info from the dealer also.
If this one has already been discussed please link me to the thread.
Thanks,
Dan

Is that really the same boat - the paint job doesn't look the same, but I guess it could have been painted white. Best to ask Jo-Pantera.
Whats the matter Dan - you don't like the cheaper 1999 in Dallas.......LOL. For a 1999 I thought it would of held together alot better than that.
The 310hps will only get you to 67-68mph, which sounds pretty good, but the boat handles so good and stable at those speeds that you want a lot more.

That is the Cherry Bomb 28'. It was built for our customer Ken Levy which lived up in the Florida Panhandle. I ran the boat up to 92 MPH when it was new while testing it.I see the green patch on the sunpad now. That was not done by us since the boat had custom embroidery done on the sunpad with the Cherry Bomb logo. The graphics were done in vinyl originally. Not sure of the condition of the boat but last time I heard the boat had approximatey 300-350 hours on the motor packages. Boat was kept while Keno owned it under roof in his Marina. Boat has red bezels, red snap in carpet, swim platform, Marine Machine hydraulic steering, k-planes, sound system, Pirelli rubber flooring, etc. etc.

The only time that boat has seen 92 MPH was with me testing it when new according to Keno since he liked cruising at 70-75 MPH max all day long.He really enjoyed that boat !!!
I see there is also a square aluminum plate around the steering bezel. We did not put that in.

Thanks Jo. Here's a better shot of the helm. Do you know what year Keno sold it?

I think he sold it within the last year or 2.The current owner I believe called me a few months back.
It spun 30 pitch 4 blades bumping the limiters at 5350 RPM and showed 92 MPH on the Gaffrig speedo.

great boat, have to add a lil weight to the nose to fly her str8, and no room to work on the engines...but with that being said...i'm looking at a few of the twin 28's as well...i missed a gorgeous one that an OSO member just purchased that was THE boat to buy...magnificent inside and out
