Yes that is the boat with the stern Powr drive.

Vertical shaft splines stripped out. I am going to try to rebuild it with all new parts if I can get them. The gears and bearings in the drive are HUGE and I may be able to reuse them. So far I will need to replace the vertical shafts and bearings, seals, etc... I have it in the hands of a competent drive repair shop, wish me luck,, Chris

I could be wrong but I believe that parts are still avaliable. I would definatly get ahold of the guy @ JTM even if you didn't use him for the repairs, he seemed to be pretty knowaldgable on the drives. Yeah I have heard the internals are huge in the drive & I believe it holds something like a gallon of fluid , they are also supposed to run nice & cool. Like I said I really hate to hear that you had problems & I wish you the best.
