For 29K the sonic boom boat should be a lot of fun. I would try and get Jo to let you do a trade in on the next race setup that comes around.

Still haven't closed the deal on this 28 apache..........................ALRIGHT, what do you want for her and with which engine.

I believe that with any sport or hobbies you become obsessed with, you can cross an invisible line and loose your innocence.
Now the object of your desire no longer has the same thrill and you can go back to the way it was. I've had this happen with several things-weight lifting, street cars, and now I see it happening with boats.
