The US Coast Guard web site should have HIN info (no clue when they started, but my 1980 had one). Its not so much the screen but the deck where the screen is mounted that looks "non-pantera" to me. There was also a decal in the bilge on my old boat just above the transom assembly.
P&D, JAWS and Python are other sisters. There's a lot of them.
The hull shape isn't the distinguishing factor with the Pantera quality. It has to do with the quality of the construction, the materials, the layup and the rigging. Of course there a lot that can change on a vehicle during the 30 years since it left the factory!
Good luck!

If I was guessing I would say it is a P&D , Excalibur , Monza , or an Early Superboat. Although I think the first Pantera out of the mold may have had a curved front dash area ( I think !!! ) But still not likely it. It is Not a python or banana, & I don't think it is a Magnum or Jaws either. As far as the HIN #'s the problem is most of them where in the gelcoat on the rear transom & if general wear doesn't get them the first coat of paint will.

Check for water in the transom and stringers and stress cracks. Email the photo to Pantera and see if they know what it is. Even if it's not a Pantera, if the thing is dry and priced right, you'll still enjoy using it! Good luck!
