At a pit stop I checked all the wheel hubs. One of them lost it's bearing buddy. So, I did a little red neck engineering. You gotta love duck tape and zip ties. The zerk was still there. So, I greased it up covered it with duck tape and used to zip tie to keep it from coming off. Worked like a champ and didn't leak for 200 miles! Will this pass trailer inspection??

Congrats on getting the boat & heading home , It really looks good !!

We had to do the same thing on one of our flats boat trailers on our way down to FL last time..... I thought only us southern boys knew how to properly use duct tape or "alabama chrome"..... Man when that happened to us all I could think was that I hope nobody meet that bearing buddy with a car or motorcycle when it came off...

You had a chance to take her for a spin yet? I hope it turns out to be a great boat for you! I looked at the boat a couple years ago when the guy in Newport had it and was asking $40k...

I took her out Saturday for a few rides. Man, it's a great ride. I can't wait to get her in some rough stuff!

Wait 'til ya get some seat time, then trim them weedwackers to the sky, and loosen up that hull, then you will be having some Fun when I was running my 2.4 with the 20" lower fully trimmed is when it handled the best, with the power you have, and the light weight of that boat, you should be able to keep it on top of the ruff, my single doesnt have the power of your twin, but the 3 liter, the torque is amazing(I am saving up for a bigger 3 liter now), just set it up, and give it some throttle to get over it.
