Default Pantera 24 retrim

Retrimming the boat - all new wooden bolsters seats etc - but I am having trouble getting the buttons here in the UK that go over the fixings which hold the panels to the side of the boat.

Also on my Pantera the seats are constructed with buttons covering fixings that tie the top cushion to the bolster frame.

Picture on the left shows four buttons on the back of each seat - and a couple covering the side panel fixings. Would prefer stainless - any companies come to mind that make or sell these things?

Hey you guys might not call these things buttons - are they Dura snap molds?

Nick,

Those button covers should have another piece of plastic in them. It should be the female piece (if you consider a button/snap the male piece). They are probably all still attached to the button-screws. If you pop one off of the screw you should see what I mean.

What excuse did they give you for not titling it? I bought a boat and trailer in PA. Boat had a title, but trailer didn't. Exactly the opposite of TN. Notarized bills of sale and the registration or old title was all I needed.

TN supposively is where everyone takes a stolen boat. There wasn't a title nor a Certificate of ownership. I couldn't 100% prove the boat wasn't stolen. I had every contact at my resource in TN to help. Still do just in case. Trailer didn't have a title and wasn't registered. I would have to have the trailer weighed and classified as home built. The whole experience was a PIA.

Next boat was a 1997 24' Baja Outlaw that I bought from MI. Trailer didn't have a serial number plate. Took 3 months to get that trailer titled. I had to call the Manu. to get all the info and that was filed away in some warehouse.

Next boat. 1999 280 Velocity. The dealer took on trade from Canada. No title for either the boat nor the trailer. I had numerous forms to file. Had to take the trailer to the POE and have it weighed and certified US transportation applianced. Took 8 months to get everything straightened out. Thankfully I had someone who works directly with the MTA and he got everything through. I also knew someone with the Fish & Game and she got my title & reg for the boat.

If you need anything passed in PA I'm your man. LOL
