How fast would a corvette run with a 350.

What kind of 502? What HP?

Do a search in this forum, I believe Jo posted a table with GPS results of different power options.

We are running a semi-built 502 in our 89. We can easily run 71 mph at about 4800 RPMS. I am guessing we have about 475 HP. If we push it harder and trim it out, etc., I bet we could see 75-78. My controls are all on the dash, so it is had for me to work the trim and tabs at those speeds. Need them on the throttle.

What all do you have done on the 502? Also what prop are you using? Thanks.

Its a 502 Iron head with dry exhuast. The 502 was built based on HP500 specs, except for the cam - for longevity and less mechanical problems. It has a cam in it with lower lift. From what I was told, everything else is pretty much built based on HP500 specs. The guy worked for GM and was able to get the engine, etc. for much less, and this is why he took this route.

I have a three blad on it right now. Not sure of the pitch. I can't remember right now. I also run a 4 blade on it. I wanted to test props this summer, but did not have time. I have to pull it soon and double check the prop.

The 4 blade is a 26P Bravo 1. I think the 3 blade is a Mirrage+. I was able to run 71MPH at 4800 RPMS with the 4 blade. Started to chine walk at that point, and was not able to adjust trim and tabs due to placement of controls (on the dash). Have not been able to get the RPMS up higher than this. I am at the end of the throttle and not able to trim much more, as cannot take hand off the throttle.

If your drive trim is built into the throttle handle check into an add-on trim switch for your tabs. Best $100 I ever spent!
