Just bought a 1989 pantera 28' with twin 350's (425 HP ea )
with Alpha 1 Gen 2 drives. The problem is on take off just before plane. I get prop wash, To what i think is bad. Some times she won't even get up on plane. I'll back off and try again. Does anybody have info on how to stop this or at least minimize this problem. Any advice would be great.
Thanks

I need to know what props you are running. If they are mirages and your max rpm is high you can try the mirage plus, it has more cup and will bite better on takeoff but will reduce max rpm 100-200. If they are cleavers than try some std mirages. If the drives are high than the only help may be to feather the throttles like Panteraman28 said. Also any small amount of ding in the trailing edge of a prop can cause this, inspect and repair if necessary. The Ironman.
