Well i grew up in that area and we would water ski up and down all the time so ppl around there were use to it and use whips/ lifts plus one side is the ghetto and there are no boats, I did blow past this old marina but few boats are kept in water for ppl going out next day. I was pissed bc it rained all day till i was headed to boat ramp.. I was more worried about a manatee then anything else..

Its off hillsboro roat theres a boat ramp just north on dixie then head left from boat ramp ocean and icw is right, 15 min boat ride to lake boca from there..

used the ramp many times, never went left. Going to Sanibel in a few weeks
