Thanks sun24. Not a lot of people with money want a little boat, and people with a little money can't afford it.
just wish I used it a bit more......
Oh well....
In hindsight if I was on a budget like o.p. I'd buy something nice minus power then save for motor / drive. Not do a complete restore. You've got to love the boat and work for that. And you'll never ever get your return. I don't love any boats and get bored ez and I certainly didn't love all the work. I like the fun stuff. Interior, paint, shiny stuff. Not grinding, cutting, building.
Buy That Carrera, save for power, Pm me in a year or two to thank Me for saving you a major ass ache of a project

I hear you! I want a bigger boat but still don't mind running mine after all the work I put into it (and I haven't run it much). Need to figure out how BAD I really want a new boat?? I was also thinking about just buying another boat and being a 2 boat owner (starting to get crazy now LOL)

Lost a 600$ prop in the ocean.
Made a oil slick worthy of calling in the haz mat team in a lake.
Good times......

i am in the middle of doing a couple of 454's. most guys don't mind hanging on to their power when they sell cuz they are in the process of getting something else same engine would fit in. i don't see sunrocket's boat listed anywhere.
