New to the Family
I can not put in words how excited I am to own this Pantera. My name is Kris Jackson and I have tried to buy this boat since March 2009. I called every month on the 16th like clockwork. It took 6 years to convince the owner to sell. He special orderd the boat in 1998 and Pantera personally delivered it to Arizona. The boat spent most of its life doing the Catalina ski race and one trip a year to Powell. I picked the boat up today and have not splashed it. GPS showes 85 on the old motor. New motor has 2 hrs and more HP. The boat came with a 28, 30 and 32 pitch props so I imagine it's fast. The weekend can not come soon enough.

I'm in Phoenix, AZ. The boat was in a climate controlled garage all its life. It's in immaculate condition. A barn find for the boat world. I knew the original owner of the boat for 15 years. Then in 2009 I found out he had a Pantera tucked away in his garage. I started calling him once a month for years just to shoot the s#/t about life and his boat. I finally cracked him with a solid offer and he reluctantly sold it to me. I boat every weekend and have not seen a Pantera on AZ lakes.
I have to call the engine builder tomorrow to find out the specs on the new motor. The boat ran 85 with a mild built hp500 and procharger. The new motor is 598ci with FAST fuel injection and a procharger.
