Man that blue 36 sure has gotten around. It spent some time up here in Minnesota around 09. Gene the owner was a regular to our poker runs. You can see it in the link about 1:30 into the video.

I guess I have been sleeping on the boards... I am the current owner of the 2006. The boat has definitely seen use but you know what? That's what they are built for, at least the Panteras are! Between the original owner, the transition with Hawkeye and Gene (The previous owner) the boat has seen some wear and abuse. More travel on the trailer wear than anything.... The boat will be getting painted within the next few years to bring it back to life, will most likely keep the blue/silver/green but going to change up the design a tad. Mine is powered by 525/XR and she runs. On flat water 81 is the best I have ever seen. Kick it up with chop and get that hull working and she touches 90... JO said 93/94 was the best, in the right conditions, brand new engines, in the salt... I am cool with 90. I see some bigger power in her future anyways and hopefully into the triple digits
I absolutely love the boat, ride is awesome, the lines are awesome... Ran Boyne Thunder this year and was very impressed.... second half of the poker run was consistent 3 footers with the occasional 4. I was running running right through it....
A buddy of mine is taking a boating break (and not by his choice). Some thieves decided they wanted some hardware off his 2009 36 Survivor more than he did... I will let him chime in on it in more detail if he wishes to. Our two boats were together in Michigan back in June for the infamous Jobbie Nooner!!! Probably the first time two 36 Survivors have been run together by different owners (outside of at the factory).
