Hi All, my engine hatch actuator is increasingly getting slower and slower. It does not make funny noises just seems to be low on power. Any suggestion on how to fix the exciting one (bring it back to new life), or options for a new one would be appreciated.
Thank you for the help. I’ll post pictures in a following post.

Mine did the same thing. It is on the way out. I tried rebuilding motor, same. I found an almost new on ebay. The housings are industry standard. The lower (gear housing area) come in two heights, the longer one by about an inch is for limit switches. If indeed yours is 12" stroke here are 2 on ebay, one with the shorter housing and one with the longer. I looked for months and these are cheaper than the one I purchased. Good Luck

Matt, what kind of height are you getting out of that actuator? Mine runs from the port forward end of the bilge to the hatch, but being off center and at such an obtuse angle, it does a pretty poor job of opening the hatch. Another problem to solve during my winter re-rigging!
