Default Fuel Pick Ups?

It appears that my 1999 24 Sport has (2) 3/8" fuel pick ups. Can anyone verify this as I can't see down into the tubes.

I'm looking to tie them together and run a 1/2" line to my fuel pump. Has anyone done this on the 24?

Hey Kirk,

Yes, your boat does have 2 3/8 fuel pick ups.You can run a 1/2 fuel line to your fuel pump.

Regards,

Thanks Jo -

I just installed the seat backs - look great. Also installed a new Momo Purple Wheel, the Spargi Model.

Also installing 4 more gauges - Boost, Oil Temp, Fuel Pressure and Depth Gauge. Had to install a 4-1 gauge for fuel level, water temp, oil pressure, and battery charge. I lost my compass temporarily. I'll redo the panel next winter.

Engine is at the dyno shop, hope to install it this weekend.

I'll post pictures when done.

Jo -

How do I get the pick ups out? I'd like to inspect them and might remove the checks.

Hi Kirk, Why do you need to inspect the pick ups??? most of the time they are welded to the tank, if not welded they are screwed on. Also there is no check valve, I do not like to use them, since they can rust from water in the tank, one more thing to worry about! Later, PEPE.
